These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Bijou & Belle website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

Bijou & Belle is a UK-based small business offering curated book gift boxes and other related products.

2. Orders

When you place an order through our website (hosted on Squarespace), you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not mean your order has been accepted - it confirms we have received it.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • An item is unavailable

  • There has been a pricing error

  • We are unable to process payment

  • We suspect fraudulent activity

If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

Payment is processed securely via Squarespace Payments. We do not store or have access to your full payment details.

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors at any time.

4. Product Descriptions

We aim to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate. However:

  • Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings.

  • Blind Date with a Book selections are based on theme or genre and remain a surprise.

While we carefully curate our books, we cannot guarantee you have not previously read or already own the selected title.

5. Delivery

Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail, Evri or DPD

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by our delivery partners or circumstances beyond our control.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery information. We cannot be held responsible for parcels lost due to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

6. Cancellations & Returns

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

7. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website - including images, text, branding, logo and product descriptions - is the property of Bijou & Belle and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bijou & Belle shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Bijou & Belle includes certain skincare or cosmetic items as optional add-ons. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information prior to use. Bijou & Belle accepts no liability for allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or adverse effects resulting from the use of these products. All products are supplied in their original packaging from third-party manufacturers.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
